Ken Phupoom not disheartened that Ae is not promoting him as much as James Ma
It appears like there is a feud going on between “James Ma” and “Ken Phupoom” the kids affiliated with “Ae Supachai’s” camp. Lately Ae is promoting James much more than he is promoting Ken, even though before it was Ken that Ae promoted majority of the time. Many people assume that Ken must be sulking at Ae, but went to fight with James instead. At the opening ceremony of “Dao Kiang Deun” of “Broadcast Thai,” this is what he had to say…
It’s up to the person, because P’Ae pushes everyone. I see P’Ae often. As for James, his lakorn is currently on air, so it’s not odd that P’Ae is helping him by promoting him, because he is a newbie.
Has this situation disheartened you?
I’m not disheartened, because we belong to the same home. When my lakorn was on air, P’Ae also helped promote it. He promotes the other channel too. Plus he probably sees that I already have work, so he would rather go look after Nong (James) instead.
Has James ratings had any affect on you?
Not really, because right now I don’t really don’t go to events much since I have 2 lakorns already. My queue is based on my lakorn queue, which takes priority. To have 2 lakorns it would take up all 7 days already. It has nothing to do with him coming in, and as a result my events have been reduced. I don’t feel any pressure, because I still have work. If he’s doing well, I’m happy for him.
Have you had a chance to see him?
I’ve seen him through work for the channel. Honestly, Ken and James known each other for a long time now, before James acted in lakorns. We go to the same gym. We also talk often. He has a nice personality.
Rumor has it that you and James are feuding
Please don’t bring it upon us to feud, because we know each other a long time now.
We saw that yesterday James attended his first event, and there were so many people
I don’t know about that either (laughs).
Will you have movies out for people to watch?
Right now with 2 lakorns, I haven’t been able to clear my schedule. I think I’m going to finish filming these two lakorns first; other things will have to wait. My priority is still focused on lakorn work. To have work is good, that way many people will be able to see how my acting has come along. Have I improved at all? Another thing is, in both lakorns, my characters are completely different altogether.
How is the filming of “Luk Tard” coming along?
We’ve only filmed so little as of now. You can say we’re trying to rush things along. If we can find more queue to fit it in, we would film this first. It’s a must to give it queue since it already has a scheduled on air date. I think it’s going to broadcast on Chulalongkorn Day. Right now I’m more fluent with the speech. At first I wasn’t too skilled with the language back then.
Anything about the lakorn that concerns you?
Everyone is concerned about the language. But this is also good; it allowed me to practice my speech to make it much more precise.
