Ken taking back his throne as King of Presenter
“Ken Theeradeth” admits there are many commercials coming; modestly say he can’t beat the younger generations and doesn’t think he demands his throne back. He also denies news of accepting only his wife’s lakorn.
Being remark to losing the throne as King of Presenter to his junior pra’ek and nang’ek after his marriage and taking care of his two beloved children, “Ken Theeradeth” comes back to take his throne. There are a lot of merchandizes that were offered to Ken as presenter. At the opening of JHT presenter, a world-wide brand name exercise machine, the pra’ek declares as follow.
“I still have my old commercial and next year, more are coming but it’s not that many. I can’t compete with the younger generations (smile). Most of the commercials that contacted me are adult like and mostly family products. I have a family now and they see me suitable to present their products. I am not the one choosing, they’re the one offering so it is not that many. (Next year there will be one with the whole family?) Yes, but I can’t say what it is yet. Just wait and see. It is my first time to work with the whole family. Nong Khun is 4 years old and Nong June is 2 years old. Nong Khun thought we came to film lakorn (laugh). I agreed to film because it only took one day but if it’s lakorn, not yet since it’s time consuming. I don’t want them to work that hard.”
When ask about the teasing news of him only starring in his wife’s lakorn, in the new lakorn “Kol Ruk Strawberry” with “Chompoo Araya”, and other producers are upset, Ken says, “I don’t think so since I have “Majurat See Nam Pueng”. As for Khun Noi’s lakorn, it’s because this role is a mature character, that’s why I could play it. But if it’s teenagers, I wouldn’t be able to. Another thing is queuing for other pra’ek and nang’ek will take a long time. Khun Noi knows my schedule (smile). It’s going to open in February. Khun Noi has another lakorn that I won’t be pra’ek in. You’ll have to see.
