Pancake Khemanit denies feud with Tor Marut; doesn’t know mom pulled her out of Athita
Always accepting only roles of the leading heroine in the past, finally “Pancake Khemanit” slapped her mouth to accept a villain role for the first time in “Peek Mongkut.” This situation has led everyone to believe the feud between her and director “Tor Marut” that once made news to be true. Pancake clears this issue…
Honestly I’ve never had problems with P’Tor. P’Tor is very loveable and has always given me good opportunities. I’m happy to come back and work for him once again.
You’re changing roles to play a villain for the first time
Let’s just say it’s another role in which P’Tor recommended would be a challenge. It’s something for me to try out, a change from my previous roles that I’ve never played before. But the role isn’t that evil, the character has her reasons. I will put my best effort forward to suit the part as much as possible.
Most of the time leading actresses don’t accept villain roles
I feel that this character is charming and she’s evil but with reason. Her character is someone that had nothing, and when she finally has something, she becomes ambitious. She wants it, she needs it. There’s fighting and competing. It’s almost like real life, in many ways it reflects reality in many aspects. In the end the character in this lakorn will have her ending in which it will teach a valuable lesson. It can be said that this lakorn is full flavoured.
There’s news that say you withdrew yourself from the lakorn “Athita” in which you were to pair with Weir
Honestly, this is something in the hands of the elders at the station. I only get to see the script; the station makes the final decision and conclusion.
Has your mother forbid you?
I don’t know anything about this.
We hear that your contract with Channel 7 has finished, have you made any plans yet?
I haven’t made any plans. I still have lakorns filming and lakorns that are about to begin filming, so let me do my job in this area first. Honestly this entertainment business is huge, so when it comes to work, there are no boundaries. However, at this moment there is nothing, I’m still working like normal. Honestly, I extended the contract by an additional year, so my contract comes to an end next year. Just stay tune.
