RS Meeting Concert Return 2013 – Sornram & Baitoey joins as special guest
RS biggest reunion concert over the weekend showcasing singers from the 90s showed that age is truly just a number as all the artists dance and sing to their hit songs of the 90s. No one surrendered to another. Fans were guaranteed a fulfilled concert, and they got exactly that.
Highlight of the Concert
“Bazoo” opened the show with their popular hit song “Tor Oiy” bringing sex appeal up a notch. Could it be their bad luck or good luck to be the opening act? Although many cheered, not many got out of their seats to welcome them.
Anan once a kid in the 90s has grown into a man performing free running onstage. Fans were surprised the man he turned out to be considering he was once just a tiny kid.
Touch seems to master it all with his dance moves that prove age is not an obstacle for a man in his 40s. He sang “Mai Mee Tee Bhai,” a song that could relate to his own life as he’s later joined by singing teacher/singer Mam Patchratida proving his teacher proud.
The 3 men if Bazoo had the coolest entrance, as they were strapped from the ceiling and lowered onstage to perform their number. Who said men at their age can’t rock it?
Lift-Oil refused to let age dictate their style as they enter onstage in a Cinderella carriage to show that they can still have fun at any age. They owned the stage as the stadium roared with laughter and cheers not only for their performances but their jokes.
Tao Somchai father of two proves he can still be Mr.Cool as he thrusts his hips. His mafia style impresses his fans each time. He’s later joined by best friend Num Sornram, who sang “Mai Keu Ruk Gan Chai Mai.”
Fans were certainly impressed that Num joined the concert this time, as they’ve been waiting for the warm atmosphere of all the men joined together. It’s not a reunion concert without Num Sornram. Fans were not disappointed as Boyscout, Tao, Num, Lift-Oil joined together to make fun of themselves and one another. This has been a long awaited reunion of the boys.
James Ruangsak showcased himself as Michael Jackson of Thailand with the signature crotch grab. As he sang the ballad “Mai Aht Blien Jai,” it truly fits the atmosphere of the night because fans sincerely showed that there hasn’t been a change of heart, their love for RS artists remains the same.
If people were looking for current music, they definitely weren’t disappointed with the appearance of 3.2.1 and Batoey R.Siam. Batoey showed up in her signature short shorts) almost too short to be called shorts), strutting her long legs to her popular hit song “Ruk Dtong Berd (Naan Nok).” As most RS artists are known for a signature dance move, Baitoey has cemented her own signature move.
If anyone can close a show with a bang, it would be Raptor, bringing the whole stadium to cheers. The concert wouldn’t be complete without the the song “Kreang Jai.” Both men once had a head full of hair, but Joni shows it’s ok to be bald.
RS held the concert on the 18 and 19th, if you missed these dates, there won’t be another concert for a while. It’s not often that they can bring this many artists over to participate in a reunion.
